As of December 2023, Cesar has been appointed as the Commercial Director of North America for P2i. With over a decade of experience and a natural leadership ability, he has consistently led cross-functional teams and implemented strategic initiatives that have driven significant business growth. Cesar’s professional journey began at Microsoft, where he worked from 2011 to 2012. Following this, he joined Din Cloud, a Private IaaS Cloud startup, as part of the Chief Strategy Officer team from Goldman Sachs. During his tenure, he played an integral role in the company’s successful $368M exit to Insight Technologies. Throughout his career, Cesar has held various key positions, including Director of Sales at Innovative Data Consulting, Regional Director at Pivot3 (one of the largest hyper-converged manufacturers in video surveillance), and Vice President of Sales at C1P Solutions. His diverse experiences have equipped him with a deep understanding of sales and business development. From 2019 to 2021, Cesar served as the Commercial Director at NetApp, where his strong analytical skills and keen business acumen enabled him to identify new opportunities and develop innovative solutions for complex challenges. Additionally, Cesar has made significant contributions to the field of cybersecurity. He joined Pro Lion from 2021 to 2022, focusing on protecting organizations against Ransomware. He also played a crucial role in promoting advanced technologies that have had a positive impact on various industries and environments through Lenovo’s Enterprise ISG team (Infrastructure Solutions Group). Cesar’s positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence have consistently contributed to the success of the organizations he has been a part of. He is known for his ability to deliver value and exceed expectations, making him a valuable asset to any team or organization.
Calvin leads P2i’s Asia Pacific commercial growth strategies and transformation, pricing and contracts management, clientele/partnerships development, and management of commercial teams across Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea. He specializes in Go-To-Market and Route-To-Conversion strategies, business models, solution commercialization, and building highly effective commercial teams. Prior to joining P2i, Calvin held senior commercial positions in Asia at Cardo, Bissell, Dyson, Whirlpool, having managed commercial start-up business units, commercial transformation to full P&L business acceleration management across Greater China, Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceania. A seasoned professional with the over 24 years in the consumer electronics and technology industries, Calvin is an industry speaker at regional industry conferences and serves as a business and industry mentor with the Australian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong & Macau and the Asian Institute of Management in the Philippines. He is based in Hong Kong and is fluent in English, Cantonese, Malay and Indonesian.
Jing studied EE at Xi’an Jiaotong University. Jing dedicate more than 15 years to consumer device industry, with extensive experience from Top tire customer requirement management, R&D, NPI, Mass production and customer service.
Jing started worked for Huawei as Customer Quality Engineer, and then relocated to US to provide customer management and implement customer requirement to R&D, NPI and Mass production, awarded golden project management team leader.
In 2023 Jing was appointed GM China of P2i Ltd, Jing’s proactive and Win-Win management style enable her to consistently build and provide best in class water protection solution and maintain best customer satisfaction in greater China region.
Joining the P2i family in February 2022, Theresa’s background spans HR management and employee development across many diverse industries having worked initially in consultancy, then became Head of HR for a global technology company prior to starting her own HR consultancy business – Add HR – over 10 years ago.
She has been brought on board to P2i to drive and develop the role of HR across the business and works closely with our management teams.
Theresa is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Chartered MCIPD).
Appointed Executive Chairman of P2i in July 2021, Chris brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the group; having founded start up enterprises, managed corporate businesses, private equity ventures and served as President of a European Trade Association. Chris worked for Schlumberger from 1995 to 2001. Following a PE buy out of the Schlumberger Resource Management Services division, Chris went on to transform the newly formed Actaris Gas and Electricity Metering Global Divisions (€750M T/O) as Divisional MD, contributing to a €1.8B trade sale to Itron in 2007. From 2005-2009, Chris served as Vice President & President of BEAMA, a trade association representing electrical infrastructure products and systems providers in a sector worth over £13B. In 2008 Chris co-founded Navetas Energy Management Ltd, partnering with the University of Oxford to develop and commercialise artificial intelligence algorithms disaggregating domestic energy consumption, securing US investment in 2012 at an equity valuation of £33M. Navetas was re-orientated in 2015 towards renewable energy and achieved a successful exit to Low Carbon Ltd in 2017. In 2019 Chris was appointed Executive Chairman of i2O Ltd, providing intelligent water network and pressure management solutions to utility clients, achieving a successful exit to Mueller Water Products Inc in 2021.
Stephen invented the P2i technology while carrying out his Ph.D. at Durham University on ‘liquid repellent surfaces’. He was consequently employed by the UK’s Ministry of Defence within Dstl to set up a plasma capability and further scale-up the patented technology for industrial applications. In 2001, Stephen moved into project managing the UK Nuclear Biological and Chemical clothing program, but continued to exploit the plasma technology for a range of commercial applications. Stephen was the founding member of P2i when it was formed in January 2004 and has more than 25 years’ experience in advanced material sciences and plasma processing, focusing on the commercialisation of the technology as a proven, cost-effective industrial process. He is the CTO and Commercial Director (Europe & India) and a member of P2i’s main board.
Martin studied Automotive Technology and brings 25+ years of invaluable experience from the Automotive, Motorsport and Defence industries to P2i. Having previously lived and worked in the USA, Martin is now responsible for driving product development at P2i. With 14 years of his career spent as a Manager / Director of technology businesses, his experience demonstrates his ability to successfully help transition businesses of all sizes. Martin’s inspirational and proactive leadership style has enabled him to consistently build and develop high performing Technology Product Delivery and Engineering teams.
Ahilan joined P2i in 2016 to lead the group finance function, significantly expanding the role of the finance team to support the growing business. Working closely with the CEO, Ahilan has strengthened the group and helped raise capital through a series of external fundraises.
Before joining P2i, he held senior finance positions at IMImobile and SSE Plc, during his term at IMImobile he was part of the team responsible for the IPO in 2014. Ahilan has always focussed on international growth businesses and the specific opportunities and challenges that these present developing broad experiences in fund raising and business transformations along the way.
Ahilan holds a degree in Banking and Finance, a Master’s in Computing and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA).
